BELLEVILLE

In the year 2020 first came the job cancellations, followed by the government mandated lockup in France on 17 March. In a two-month-long shooting, I have been taking pictures from the windows of my apartment in Paris to keep doing what I love, but also in the hopes of capturing some moments in the extraordinary times we live in. By shooting daily, I have built an archive of +75 000 pictures: a modern representation of Belleville, the colorful Parisian neighborhood, in the times of covid19
