In the year 2023, in the last days of the winter, Rainer Torrado took his camera to the Metro de Madrid, during weekends and right at the start of its operating hours. Early morning in the underground, workers and partygoers coexist in platforms and cars. Oblivious to the sunrise, the working class lacks the energy to stay awake, and falls asleep. The resulting series delivers dreamlike compositions of shared intimacy, shaping visions of slumber, at 6 AM in the morning
